QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a CDL A & 21 years or older.
Must have successfully completed truck driving school in the last 3 years.
No more than 1 CMV on-road preventable accident in the last 2 years, no major preventable within 5 years.
No more than 2 moving vilations in the last 2 years.
No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years, or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test. No drug related conviction within the past 5 years, or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL. No positive/refused tests in the past 10 years with CDL-A/CLP.
SAP drivers are not eligible for hire.

What is home time for team drivers?
U.S. Xpress does not have a set home time policy. Whether you prefer longer hauls for maximum earnings or need a schedule that fits your lifestyle, U.S. Xpress will work with you.
How long is orientation and what should I bring to it?
Orientation lasts three full days, and you will need to bring the following items:
- Class A CDL
- Social Security Card
- Employment verification documents
- CDL school transcripts and a certificate if you are a Student Driver
- Medical releases or information for the MRO to complete your DOT Physical
- 1-2 weeks of clothing
- Bedding
- Personal hygiene items
- Bath towels
- An alarm clock
- A voided check, or a letter on bank letterhead that includes your account information for direct deposit set up.
