Higher Pay for Solo and Team Drivers

We’re increasing pay across our company OTR fleet, with investments tailored to both solo and team drivers.

Company OTR Solo Drivers

Our new Loyalty Pay Program rewards drivers for building a long-term career at U.S. Xpress.

Drivers with at least 12 months of service will continue receiving CPM increases at each service anniversary through 48 months, creating a clear path for continued pay growth. The longer you stay with U.S. Xpress, the more your earning potential increases.

We’re also making shorter loads more rewarding with increased minimum short haul pay. Because not every trip is a long haul—but every trip matters—these new minimums help ensure drivers are better compensated when shorter freight is part of the network, creating more consistent earnings regardless of trip length.

Company Team Drivers

We’ve also made a substantial investment in our team drivers.

With the new pay package, team drivers now have the potential to earn up to $0.90 CPM (split), along with eligibility for productivity bonuses and Loyalty Pay. Top-performing U.S. Xpress teams can earn more than $260,000 annually (split).
