At U.S. Xpress, we’re committed to setting new drivers up for long-term success. From day one, our goal is to provide the training, support, and guidance needed to help drivers build a rewarding career in the trucking industry.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new CDL school partnership. Through this program, aspiring drivers can receive the training they need to earn their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). With flexible scholarship opportunities, and the potential for tuition reimbursement after two years with U.S. Xpress, there’s never been a better time to start your trucking career.

What can new drivers expect?

During training, students will be introduced to U.S. Xpress’ standards, expectations, and culture. Each Academy course includes classroom and hands-on instruction, giving students the knowledge and practical experience needed to confidently begin their trucking careers.

After successfully completing the program and earning their CDL, graduates will be paired with a U.S. Xpress Driver Trainer to continue developing their skills behind the wheel. This next step helps prepare new drivers to become confident, capable first-seat drivers.
