Industry organizations spotlight the company’s focus on environmental initiatives
Chattanooga, Tenn. – (Dec. 10, 2020) – Chattanooga-based U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: USX) today announced its environmental and sustainability efforts were recently recognized by two industry groups. Supply & Demand Chain Executive honored the company with its 2020 Green Supply Chain Award and the Tennessee Trucking Association awarded U.S. Xpress with its 2020 Clean Diesel Leadership Award.

The 2020 Tennessee Trucking Association Clean Diesel Leadership Awards raise awareness and recognize organizations that have made significant, measurable improvements in air quality through the development and/or implementation of clean diesel actions (i.e., retrofits, idle reduction, alternative fuels, driver education, APU’s, fuel efficiency, etc.) The Clean Diesel Initiative is a collaborative effort to reduce emissions from on-road diesel vehicles in Tennessee. The award signifies the recipient’s commitment to air quality improvement and clean diesel actions.
