Jacob Kramer to Lead U.S. Xpress Driver Recruiting
New leadership brings innovation to competitive trucking market
Chattanooga, Tenn. (May 19, 2020) U.S. Xpress, a subsidiary of U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc., the nation’s fifth largest asset-based truckload carrier by revenue, today announced the hiring of Jacob Kramer as its vice president of driver recruiting. In this role, Kramer is responsible for developing the company’s overall driver recruitment strategy and overseeing the tactics to identify and source qualified professional driver candidates.

Prior to joining U.S. Xpress, Kramer was the vice president of talent acquisition, training and communications at Regis Corporation, a global leader in beauty salons and cosmetology education consisting of 40 plus brands, including Supercuts, SmartStyle and Cost Cutters. Prior to joining Regis Corporation, Kramer served as senior director of talent acquisition at Alorica, a customer experience and call center outsourcing solutions provider.
While at Regis Corporation, Kramer leveraged unique recruiting artificial intelligence technology to develop the first-known and fully automated high-volume recruiting solution. The strategy went on to win the Silver Brandon Hall Group Excellence Award for Best Unique or Innovative Talent Acquisition Program. Additionally, Kramer’s past recruitment strategies at Alorica were honored with a Stevie Award.
Kramer holds a degree in business management and is Six Sigma green belt certified. He’s also a 2018 Advertising Federation of Minnesota 32-under-32 honoree. Kramer and his wife have one daughter.
