U.S. Xpress Announces March’s Drivers and Trainers of the Month
Chattanooga, Tenn. (April 30, 2019) – U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:USX), the nation’s fifth largest asset-based truckload carrier by revenue, today announced the Drivers and Trainers of the Month for March 2019. To qualify for the award, drivers must satisfy high-level criteria, including having a safe driving record, complying with hours of service regulations, and achieving exemplary mileage contributions.
The following were selected as March’s Drivers of the Month: Dedicated Solo Driver Charles Atkins, Dedicated Team Drivers Joel Cortes and David Bonilla Jr., Dedicated Slipseat Driver Richard McFarland Jr., Dedicated Owner Operator Driver Michael Stewart, Over the Road Solo Driver Gino Ostonal, Over the Road Team Drivers Daniel Rivera and Emilio Rivera Jr., Over the Road Regional Driver Cecil Barfield, and Over the Road Owner Operator Driver Monroe Unruh.
March’s Trainers of the Month are Dedicated Trainer Reginald Davis and Over the Road Trainer Samuel Claybrook.
Drivers are nominated by their direct managers for their outstanding safety records. The winners of Drivers and Trainers of the Month are then selected by company leadership
