U.S. Xpress Announces January’s Drivers and Trainers of the Month
Chattanooga, Tenn. (February 10, 2019) – U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:USX), the nation’s fifth largest asset-based truckload carrier by revenue, announced the outstanding Drivers and Trainers of the Month of January 2019. Drivers and Trainers of the Month must satisfy high level criteria during a 12 month period. This criteria includes having a safe driving record, completed hours of service, and mile contributions.
The following were selected as January’s Drivers of the Month: Dedicated Solo Driver Bobby McPeters, Dedicated Team Drivers Kathleen and Jeffery O’Barlow, Dedicated Slipseat Driver Janelle Johnson, Dedicated Owner Operator Driver Joseph Toler, Over the Road Solo Driver Thomas Hartwick, Over the Road Team Drivers Dennise and John Lupsa, Over the Road Regional Driver Daniel Mills, and Over the Road Owner Operator Driver Lamar Landry.
January’s Trainers of the Month are Dedicated Trainer Terrell Fields and Over the Road Trainer Nico Barnes.
These individuals are selected by their managers for their outstanding safety records. Their transportation managers pitch to company leadership on why they should be selected, and they then are chosen by company leadership for the winner spot.
