U.S. Xpress Announced Top Performing Drivers

Chattanooga, Tenn. (March 18, 2019) – U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: USX), the nation’s fifth largest asset-based truckload carrier by revenue, announced their latest group of top performing drivers during a celebration in Chattanooga, Tenn., on March 7 and 8. During the two-day event, U.S. Xpress recognized their 2018 Drivers and Trainers of the Year. The Drivers and Trainers of the Year were chosen from their peers for their safe driving records and for following all guidelines put in place by the Company and the Department of Transportation.

The 10 U.S. Xpress Drivers of the Year are: Bill Bennett, Tracy Gaudette, Matthew Petsch, Marion McLeod Jr., Roosevelt Brown Jr., Tolly Taliaferro, Zachary Thibodeaux, Jared Usey, Douglas Hartel, and Donna Frey. Trainers of the Year are Valentine Dean and William Belk.

In addition to the Drivers and Trainers of the Year, 43 U.S. Xpress drivers were honored for driving a combined total of more than 51 million accident-free miles throughout their driving careers.
