With nearly two decades at U.S. Xpress, Adam Veron shares why the future of full truckload trucking, customer relationships, and enterprise freight solutions has him excited for what’s ahead.

For U.S. Xpress Head of Enterprise Sales Adam Veron, the transportation industry isn’t just a career, it’s a family tradition.

With family roots spanning the U.S. Air Force, the Chattanooga Transportation Authority, and the railroad industry, Veron was naturally drawn to trucking. “In college, I interned at Norfolk Southern, then joined U.S. Xpress after graduation and haven’t looked back,” he says. That was 18 years ago, and his journey with one of the nation’s leading trucking companies has been anything but static.

Nearly Two Decades of Leadership at U.S. Xpress

Over the years, Veron has held multiple leadership roles across the organization. Today, as Head of Enterprise Sales, he helps lead the U.S. Xpress Commercial Team, working closely with both existing customers and new shippers.

“My role is really about staying connected to the needs of our different business units and partnering with shippers to build strong relationships and secure opportunities to move their freight,” Veron explains. That customer-first mindset supports how U.S. Xpress delivers safe, reliable, and scalable transportation solutions nationwide.

Customer Relationships Matter

at U.S. Xpress

“In trucking and logistics, relationships are everything,” Veron says.

For Veron, strong customer relationships are built on trust, consistency, and communication. Shippers need to know they can count on their carrier, especially when challenges arise. That’s why staying connected matters, whether through in-person meetings, calls, or even quick text messages.

Being easy to do business with, and recover quickly when things don’t go as planned, is what separates great freight partners like U.S. Xpress from the rest.

Why Adam Veron Is Excited About the Future of U.S. Xpress

“What excites me most is the opportunity to keep building a more consistent, reliable, customer-focused operation,” Veron says. “We’ve made real progress, and now we’re positioned to tighten execution, strengthen relationships, and create a better experience for both our drivers and our customers.”

That momentum is exactly why Adam Veron is “stoked” about 2026, and why U.S. Xpress is focused on delivering safe, dependable freight solutions for the future.
