QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a CDL A & 21 years or older.

Must have 3 months of verifiable experience

No more than 1 CMV on-road preventable accident in the last 2 years. No major CMV preventable accidents in the last 5 years.

No more than 2 moving vilations in the last 2 years.

No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years, or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL.

Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test. No drug related conviction within the past 5 years, or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL. No positive/refused tests in the past 10 years with CDL-A/CLP.

SAP drivers are not eligible for hire.

What kind of freight do Dedicated Drivers handle?

Dedicated drivers primarily haul grocery (RG) and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) freight for some of the nation’s largest and most trusted brands. These routes typically involve consistent, high-demand products—everything from everyday household essentials to store-ready grocery items—giving you steady miles, predictable schedules, and reliable freight year-round. 

How long is orientation and what should I bring to it?

Orientation lasts three full days, and you will need to bring the following items:

  • Class A CDL 
  • Social Security Card 
  • Employment verification documents 
  • CDL school transcripts and a certificate if you are a Student Driver 
  • Medical releases or information for the MRO to complete your DOT Physical 
  • 1-2 weeks of clothing 
  • Bedding 
  • Personal hygiene items 
  • Bath towels 
  • An alarm clock 
  • A voided check, or a letter on bank letterhead that includes your account information for direct deposit set up. 

What is home time like for Dedicated Drivers?

Home time depends on the customer and delivery area, but most Dedicated drivers enjoy daily or weekly home time and set days off each week.
