Julie Van de Kamp, Josh Smith, and Hayden Suits are on the move.
We’re excited to share new organizational changes within our Sales and Customer Experience teams. Part of evolving as a company involves reorganizing so that we can tackle the goals we’ve set. On our mission to make goods move better every day, having the right people in the right spots makes all the difference.
Julie Van de Kamp is our new Senior Vice President of Sales. Julie brings extensive experience in our commercial space having most recently led our Customer Experience and Revenue Management teams, and she has a proven track record with team and people development. A recipient of the Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s Women in Supply Chain award, Julie has been with U.S. Xpress for over 14 years. Previously, Julie worked within the company’s brokerage and business development divisions.
“I’m most excited about setting up tools and systems to develop teams and focus on excellence,” Julie said. “That’s going to be a fun part of this role—not only working alongside the Sales team to develop relationships with our customers, but also to develop our own team.”
After two years as our Director of Customer Experience, Josh Smith is our new Vice President of Customer Experience. Josh comes to this role with great customer experience expertise.
“I’m excited about my new role,” Josh said. “I’m surrounded by a great team, and I know my perspective and experience will help us grow relationships with our customers.”
Hayden Suits, Director of Product Management, will expand his scope to support the entire commercial organization’s product needs. He’ll now report to Chief Commercial Officer Jake Lawson.
“We have so many aspirations as a company, and I can’t wait to get to work and chase those benchmarks,” said Hayden. “I’m honored to take on this new role.”
Julie, Josh, and Hayden bring valuable insights and a wealth of experience with them to their new roles, and we couldn’t be more excited for them. Join us in congratulating these team members and their new positions.
